The first night of our mission trip to Mexico we ministered in an evening service at our host church. As we prayed for people at the front of the room, a girl came up to me and said she had a little ball-shaped tumor behind her ear. She hadn’t been to a doctor yet because she was so worried about the diagnosis. She said she could feel the tumor most of the time and before we prayed, I asked her if she felt it and she did.
As we prayed, I saw a picture of her grabbing the tumor and throwing it to God, which symbolized giving Him the responsibility for it, so I asked her to do just that as a symbolic act of faith in God’s intention to heal her. She did, and it released a lot of joy and peace into the situation. We prayed a little longer and I asked her to check if the tumor was still there. She checked and couldn’t find it!
I saw her several times throughout the trip, and the tumor was still totally gone!
