I was sitting in my office when a fellow pastor, Billy Jones, came in and began to share a dream with me that he’d recently had. He had been asking God for dreams about businesses.
“I saw what looked like a guitar fret, but as I looked closer, it became the graph of a business’s stock market report. Then three letters appeared on top of the chart. I realized that God was giving me a clue to an actual business. So I looked up the symbols, and they were a biotech company in Australia that is having breakthroughs in finding cures for illnesses such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and Huntington’s disease.”
He knew I was leading a mission trip to Australia and asked if we would be up for paying the company a visit and blessing them. I was thrilled! This was exactly what I had wanted to do on our trip. So I made plans to visit this biotech company with our Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry mission team.
A couple of months later we were ending our trip in Melbourne after two weeks of ministry. On our way through the city, we drove our bus to the dark-glassed high-rise where the biotech company was situated. We purchased $150 worth of flowers and then had all of the students write messages from God and encouraging words for the people inside. As some of our team walked around the building releasing God’s presence through prayer, I took a smaller group up with the flowers and encouraging words to see if we could meet with a senior leader of the company.
When we arrived at the company’s floor, there was tight security and nowhere to go without a swipe card. So we knocked on the glass, and an administrator came out. She saw the flowers and looked surprised. We began to tell her that we had come because of a dream and wanted to thank and bless their leaders for the work they were doing with curing illnesses. She went back inside and a few minutes later returned with their COO.
The COO, an intelligent-looking middle-aged businesswoman, came out looking surprised also. “We never get any thanks for what we do here,” she exclaimed.
We gave her the beautiful floral arrangement and then began to tell her about the dream.
We asked her if she was okay with our praying for her and blessing their business. She politely approved. I had one of our students pray over her; this particular student has a dream to see Alzheimer’s destroyed on the planet.
We could feel the presence of God fill the waiting room, and it was beautiful to see two powerful businesswomen receiving God’s grace. After the short prayer, we thanked them for their time, got back into the elevator, and then headed on our way.
About eight months later, I was prompted by the Holy Spirit to look up the business’s stock market chart. I was pleasantly surprised to see that God’s blessing had truly come onto the business. The value of their stock hadn’t moved much in over three years-but now it had risen over 300 percent!
