An 18 year-old woman lost her eyesight suddenly. She visited her optometrist and was told that the middle part of her eyes were completely damaged and there was nothing that could be done to reverse the damage. She ended up attending a school for the blind and walking with a cane because she could no longer see.
She eventually ended up getting married and had a child! She had never seen her husband or her child with her own eyes.
She had been blind for 12 years until one night her husband said a quick prayer for healing. Something along the lines of, “God, we know you can heal her. Could you do it?” After the prayer, the woman stated that she could open her eyes for the first time in 12 years.
A team from Global Medical Research Institute began a case study of this woman’s condition and her healing. They consulted specialists and looked through medical records to see what doctors would conclude about the recovery of her eyesight. The team talked with a vision scientist professor and they found that when she was originally diagnosed the medical record showed damage to the eyes that would not get better on its own. In fact, once the specific genetic condition she had gets triggered, blindness occurs and is irreversible.
The particular condition of this woman’s eyes does not recover naturally on its own. After she discovered she was healed she returned to the same eye doctor and the picture he took of the back of her eyes showed that all of the damage that was in her eye originally had healed. He found slight evidence of a mild issue but for the most part the entire issue was better. When her eyesight was measured, she had almost normal vision.
Her eyesight has been healed for 47 years and it has been relatively lasting.
“Highlights from the Case Study from Global Medical Research Institute:
-A young woman presented with sudden bilateral vision loss and atrophy in each fovea
-She was diagnosed with juvenile macular degeneration and was blind for 12 years
-After a brief proximal intercessory prayer (PIP) experience she regained her eyesight
-Her eyesight has remained 20/40 or better for over forty years since the PIP event”
