A few weeks ago our mission team received a phone call from a lady stuck in human trafficking who was in need. We are used to these calls, as we run a direct ministry with the ladies. But with this specific call we felt the Holy Spirit tell us to stop everything to pursue her. We had no idea where our simple yes would take us.
We ended up being led by this lady to a tin shack with no windows, no ventilation, and no light that was extremely hot. When our eyes adjusted to the darkness we could see we were in the middle of a drug den. There were dealers cooking drugs and making mandrax pipes. There were also customers. The atmosphere was very heavy, and the feeling that we didn’t belong there was gripping our bodies.
We shared a few Testimonies and prayed for a bedridden man who was sick with TB. He got out of bed and was completely healed! Praise Jesus! After that healing took place the atmosphere completely shifted. We started to pray for everyone in the shack. A deaf ear opened, and more TB was healed. By this time they had put away the drugs and stopped their cooking.
We were able to share the Gospel and lead more than half of the room in a salvation prayer. From stopping for the one, we were led to a drug den where drug dealers and customers got saved. – from Global Mercy Missions, https://www.globalmercymissions.com/
