I was discouraged after a season of not seeing much breakthrough in healing or evangelism. But then I went on a work trip in Arizona with my two unsaved coworkers, and the first day, I stepped out and saw God heal one of them.
Later that night, I looked up and saw a man who looked strangely similar to the lead singer of a huge rock band in America. When he walked into the ice rink with his kids and wife, I heard in my heart that he often dealt with migraines and head pain. I wasn’t sure if it was actually him, but I felt very drawn to bless him with healing. I was really nervous because I didn’t want to be wrong.
I went over and asked him if he was the lead singer of the band. When he said yes, I greeted him and then said, “That’s not why I came over here, though. I actually wanted to ask you a random question. Do you deal with migraines and head pain?”
With a look of surprise, he said, “Yeah, all the time.” I told him I was a Christian and believed in healing, and I asked if I could pray for him.
He said, “Uh, sure, man,” and gave me his hand.
I knelt down, looked in his eyes, and spoke encouraging words from God about his future for a few minutes. It completely rocked him. Then I prayed, and God healed him. He asked me what my name was and where I was from, but I simply replied that it wasn’t important and that I just wanted to bless him. I went back to work totally on fire from what just happened.
Then a lady came over and asked about The Happy Intercessor, the book I was reading. I told her
about it and spoke encouraging words from God over her, too. She got teary eyed and thanked me. She later returned to say she wanted me to have something, and she placed something in the pocket of my
hoodie. When I finished with my customers and checked my pocket, I pulled out $500 in cash. I
shared this testimony with my two coworkers, and they were both speechless. They weren’t
believers, but for the rest of the trip, they put worship music on in the car before I even got in.
