When I was born, the doctors told my parents that I would never be able to walk properly because of the way my hips were shaped. I had a degenerative condition that meant my knees, hips, lower back, and feet weren’t aligned correctly.
During school one day, a Bethel pastor was speaking and said that there was grace for healing in the room. When I heard this, I felt a hand on the back of my head. I looked to see who it was, and no hand was there.
My friend was beside me, and I got him to put his hand in the same place. Immediately, I felt something in my lower back tighten up, just like a girdle. All the muscles tightened as if they were being pulled into place by strings. It wasn’t something I was contending for, but I needed healing for my back, hips, knees, and feet. God reminded me that I had injured my back in high school and it hadn’t healed. Some of the muscles grew, but the injured ones hadn’t. That was about ten years ago.
Now I can stand without becoming fatigued. My posture is better. I’m no longer hunched over, and I don’t slouch anymore. I also have more confidence, and it’s much easier to walk. I know my knees will come into full alignment.
