I’m a second year BSSM student, and in August I went on a covert mission trip in Southeast Asia. We organized a three day youth camp for over 170 youths from different tribes from around the country. Each tribe could only send two kids to the camp, because if they sent more than that it would raise suspicion with the government officials, as Christianity is not an accepted religion in that nation. So each sent two, and those two were responsible to return to the village and teach everyone else. In that nation, believing in Jesus could cost them their freedom. They knew what it means to count the cost of following Christ, and they carried incredible hunger for the Lord.
During the camp, we met a girl who had been suffering from epilepsy since she was 11. She even fainted one day during worship. Sensing that in her case the illness had to do with demonic oppression, many people had tried to deliver her over the years without success. However, when we found out that she’d experienced childhood trauma at age 11, we began to lead her through forgiveness and freedom from the trauma, and she began to manifest a demon, and it was like she was choking. We commanded the spirit of death and control to leave, and it left!
A few days later, we met her and found that she was completely healed! The Holy Spirit had led her to stop taking her medications, and she had not experienced a seizure since that day.
