In March, a 14-year-old from our church stood on stage and gave his testimony. His family was from Canada, and he autistic and had ADHD. He and his family had moved to Redding and were seeking healing, while some members attended BSSM.
He shared that he had also had a major addiction to pornography. He’d met with our youth pastor, Tom, who told him to worship any time he was tempted to look at porn. On stage he said, “I worshipped a lot.”
After months of prayer and discipleship his doctor said he was very pleased with his improvements, and his family believes he has been healed and set free from much of his social anxiety and fears. He has also been set free from pornography addiction.
Normally, bright lights and a lot of people would set him off, so it was a miracle that he was able to share from Bethel’s stage. As he shared his testimony on stage, his parents stood behind him, weeping. He had been experiencing healing, but his family had been experiencing healing, as well.
After sharing his testimony, he started preaching! He had anyone who was carrying shame stand up, and he released a prayer over them to experience freedom.
