I was walking to the dining center at Simpson University in Redding, California when I felt pain in my left hip. It came out of nowhere, and I realized God was giving using the pain to signal to me that He wanted to heal someone’s left hip. I looked around and couldn’t see anyone who was limping as badly as I was, so I tweeted, “If anyone is dealing with left hip problems, God wants to heal you right now.” I went on with my day without any pain and forgot about my tweet.
When I got home from school, I got a message from my friend thanking me for taking the risk. She had slipped on the ice outside her house and fallen on her hip. She said that as soon as she read my post, the pain left and her bruise shrunk down to the size of her thumbnail. I then got a message from a youth pastor at another church back home thanking me for stepping out. He dealt with left hip problems due to his tool belt, and when he saw my post, he laid his hand on his hip, claiming the healing for himself. He said that the pain completely left. I learned that God can heal through Twitter!
