Earlier this evening I had planned to head over to the YWAM base I work at to prep for Monday morning worship. Being after hours, I knew that no one would be around and I would need my security card to get into the building. I checked all the usual locations – my laptop bag, wallet, camera pack. Nothing was there. I then checked my car – centre console, glove box, under the seats and floor mats. I checked each several times, emptying each compartment out completely, and using a flashlight to check. Still nothing!
I then checked and rechecked my apartment in every conceivable location, called my parents and a couple friends to see if I had left it at anyone’s house. Nada… I then remembered that if I went to the base around 8:00 someone would be stopping by briefly, so I drove over and waited, and rechecked my car.
Finally I stopped panicking and asked Jesus where it might be. He said to stop and listen and wait. I then sensed that I should check the glove box again so I blindly opened it up, reached in, and the first thing I felt was my missing security card! Thanks Jesus!! – from Chris H.
