Last year I was traveling through Asia on a mission trip, and one day, we did healing training for pastors in India. We had a long day of teaching and praying for the sick and still had to travel three hours to our next destination. Before we left, a woman asked us to come pray for people in a home for the dying. We thought, Let’s be nice Christians and go, even though we didn’t really want to.
The first middle-aged man we approached had cancerous tumors throughout his body and was supposed to die within a couple of weeks. He had a tumor the size of an orange protruding from the inside of his mouth, and it was bleeding and smelled really bad. We prayed for him and didn’t feel anything or notice anything happen.
Then we decided to worship the Lord around his bed. We sang “Break Every Chain” with the lyrics, “There is power in the name of Jesus,” and felt a strong presence. There still wasn’t a noticeable difference in the man after we worshipped, and I honestly didn’t expect him to be healed.
About ten hours after we left, I got an email from the man in charge of the home for the dying. He attached a picture of the man we had prayed for-without the tumor coming out of his mouth! It had disappeared! The other tumors in his body had started shrinking, and they were able to do treatment on him. Today he is alive and doing well.
My friends went back to visit the man and to verify that he was actually healed because they could hardly believe the picture. That is one of the craziest miracles I have ever seen in my life.
