When I left BSSM to go home to Asia, I was eager to share all I had learned. I got to share in several home fellowships, both in the State Church and the Underground Church. We saw about twenty people healed of deafness, back pain, headaches, a severe cervical disease, emotional pain, and more.
After hearing about the home meetings I had been leading, the associate pastor from the biggest State Church in the city asked me to go with her to a leaders’ conference. With no formal religious training, I was shocked. God had other thoughts, obviously, because He moved appointments, gave me clearance from the head of the State Church, and a donor provided the finances I needed.
When we arrived to the conference, just as the woman I came with was explaining to me how we were going to split up the schedule for teaching, she received a phone call and was ordered by her boss to return to work because she had just been promoted. This left me as the only teacher for the next three days.
The next morning, two governmental delegates taught the first session. They warned the leaders not to believe in healing, that it was just superstition. They instructed them that if they were sick, they needed to go to a doctor. I was so terrified about being alone and the warning of these delegates that I called friends and asked them to pray. The Lord encouraged me that He had put me there and wanted me to give them what He had given me.
So that afternoon, I boldly told them their identity and destiny in Christ, and introduced them to the Holy Spirit and His gifts. Their love and hunger for God were so humbling. God showed up mightily. The church even had a speaker mounted outside so the kitchen staff could listen in, and because the church was situated on top of a hill, the sound echoed down into the town below.
The wife of the host pastor shared that she and three sisters had been praying and fasting for the meeting and affirmed that God had sent the right person. My teachings were recorded and made available to all the leaders to take back to their communities. During the conference, God healed at least forty-five people instantly. It was a glorious week watching God love these people!
