The first day of Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry, I was with a group who did prayer walks around a local neighborhood, inviting people to a weekly Bible study. Bre was a young woman who accepted our invitation.
It was going to be Bre’s first time at the Bible study, and I went to her house to pick her up. When I arrived, her mom was turning blue and dying. I texted several people: “Pray. This looks bad.” Bre was crying, and her brother was threatening to kill himself. When the paramedics arrived they covered her mom with a sheet and drove her off without using sirens. Bre’s dad chased after the ambulance in his own car.
Bre still came with me to the Bible study. We arrived 35 minutes late and told everyone we needed to pray. Bre and her boyfriend knew her mom was dead, because she’d been unresponsive and lifeless for an hour.
We had been praying for a miracle for an hour when her dad texted, “She is alive. Get down here.” Bre and I went to the hospital, and her dad said, “She slipped again.”
Bre answered, “I’m going to pray for my mom.” So Bre went in to pray. When she returned, she said that her mom saw black shadows trying to take her away. Bre prayed and said, “I know God is there and is holding my mom’s hand.” We got back to the Bible study, and everyone was rejoicing.
Bre’s mom died again the same night, and we went back down to the hospital and prayed. Suddenly, as we prayed, she awoke, and her pulse rate became normal. The hospital staff wouldn’t tell me what had happened. They just said she was septic, and it was bad.
Bre’s mom was raised from the dead twice that night.
It has been a prayer of mine my whole life to raise someone from the dead. Bre’s mom was released from the ER at midnight and from the hospital the next night. Bre and her boyfriend were baptized the next week! Now Bre, her new boyfriend, and her mother are all attending the Bible study.
